PLEASE READ, COMPLETE, AND SIGN BELOW
This Pet Addendum is incorporated into and made part of the Vacation Rental Agreement between Glass Casa, Inc./Glass Casa South Florida, LLC (“Property Manager”) and the Guest identified in the reservation referenced above. Approval is granted for the Guest to have the pet(s) described on the pet application at the vacation rental property, subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein and in the original Rental Agreement.
Guests agree to the following terms and conditions:
Pets must be kept on a leash whenever outside the rental unit unless within a designated fenced area. Guests are responsible for immediately cleaning up and properly disposing of all pet waste. Pets are not permitted on furniture, beds, or linens at any time. Evidence of pets on furnishings may result in additional cleaning charges. Pets must be treated with an effective flea and tick preventative at least three (3) days prior to arrival. Should fleas, ticks, or other infestations be discovered during or after the stay, Guest will be responsible for all treatment and remediation costs. Guests assume full responsibility for any damage caused by the pet(s) to the property, furnishings, landscaping, or neighboring property. Any repair, replacement, or additional cleaning costs will be charged to the Guest and will be charged to the credit card on file. Guest shall ensure that pet(s) do not create excessive noise, aggressive behavior, or other nuisances that disturb neighbors, guests, residents, or property owners. Any pet deemed to be a nuisance, disruptive, or a safety concern may be required to be removed from the property immediately at the sole discretion of the owner, HOA and/or Glass Casa without refund. Pets may not be left unattended on patios, balconies, lanais, screened enclosures, or other outdoor areas at any time. Pets may be restricted based on insurance carrier guidelines, HOA regulations, or property-specific policies. Glass Casa reserves the right to refuse or require removal of any pet at any time due to breed, size, behavior, or perceived risk. All pets must be approved in advance in writing. Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Glass Casa, HOA, and the property owner from any claims, injuries, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from the presence or actions of the pet(s) during the rental period. Failure to comply with any provision of this Pet Addendum may result in immediate removal of the pet(s) from the property and/or termination of the rental agreement without refund.
Assistance Animals (Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals):
In properties where pets are not permitted, service animals may be allowed as required by applicable law. Guests are encouraged to notify Glass Casa in advance if a service animal will be accompanying them.
Emotional support animals (ESAs) are not considered to be service animals under federal law and are subject to the property’s standard pet policy, including approval requirements, applicable fees, and property-specific restrictions.
If you are planning to bring an assistance animal to a non-pet property, a separate assistance animal form is required. This form applies only to properties that allow pets.
